Are the web app and the iPhone app the same? Do they sync?

No. They are two different apps. They do not sync.

Even if you sign in on the web with your Apple account, you will not see the list you made in the iPhone app. The other way around is the same.

How do I choose which one to use?

We suggest you pick only one.

If you use an iPhone, we suggest the App Store app. It can use your Apple ID, iCloud, and the privacy tools already on your phone in ways a website cannot.

If you use Android, or you prefer a browser, use the web app.

Is the iPhone app free?

Yes. You can download it and use it for free. That free version is called Basic.

Basic and Advanced exist only on the iPhone app. The web app has no Basic or Advanced. It is free as it is.

What is Advanced?

Advanced is an optional unlock inside the iPhone app only. It costs $7.99 once. It is not a subscription. Web users do not see it.

Why would I pay for Advanced if the web app is free?

Because the iPhone app can use things on your iPhone that a website cannot. Advanced turns those on.

Your list can live in your iCloud, behind your Apple ID, with the same kind of privacy controls you already use for Photos, Notes, and the rest of your Apple stuff. That Apple setup is something we cannot match in a web browser.

You get:

  1. Your list saved in your iCloud
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. A widget on your Home Screen so you can add a line fast
  4. Share from other apps (like Safari or Mail) straight into your list
  5. A reminder from your phone if you have not written in a while
  6. Private lines that stay blurred until you show them, with an optional PIN
  7. A photo from your Photos app on a line
  8. Haptics (a short vibration) when you save a line

The web app stays free in a browser. It does not offer the list above.

What do I get with Basic on iPhone?

Basic is the free download. You can add lines, search, use the widget, share into your list, sign in with your Apple ID, keep the list in iCloud, show or hide dates, pick light or dark with White, Black, or Blue, export your list, and keep a main list plus one extra list.

What does Advanced add?

Advanced adds more lists, tags, import, more colors and fonts, newest first, notes, photos, silence reminders, private lines with a PIN, stronger tap options, and time between two lines. Features you have not unlocked stay on screen but greyed out.
